Camp Fern Legacy, Inc. values its users’ privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) will help you understand how we collect and use personal information from those who visit our website or make use of our online facilities and services, and what we will and will not do with the information we collect. Our Policy has been designed and created to assure those affiliated with Camp Fern Legacy, Inc. of our commitment and realization of our obligation not only to meet, but to exceed, most existing privacy standards. 

We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy at any given time. If you have not registered with us and want to make sure that you are up to date with the latest changes, we advise you to frequently visit this page. If you are a registered user, we will notify you via email of any changes or updates made to this Policy. If at any point in time Camp Fern Legacy, Inc. decides to make use of any personally identifiable information on file, in a manner vastly different from that which was stated when this information was initially collected, the user or users shall be promptly notified by email. Users at that time shall have the option as to whether to permit the use of their information in this separate manner.  

This Policy applies to Camp Fern Legacy, Inc. and it governs any and all data collection and us by us. Through the use of www.campfern.org, you are therefore consenting to the data collection procedures expressed in this Policy.  

Please note that this Policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that Camp Fern Legacy, Inc. does not control, nor by individuals not employed or managed by the company.            Camp Fern Legacy, Inc., operator of the www.campfern.org is dedicated to protect our users’ (“users” or “you”) privacy rights. The purpose of this page is to inform you about our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information(“PII”) if anyone decided to use the applications offered by us (collectively, the “Service”). 

          Camp Fern Legacy, Inc.’s operations are located primarily in the United States. If you provide information to us, the information will be transferred out of the European Union (EU) and sent to the Untied States. (The adequacy decision on the EU-US Privacy became operational on August 1, 2016. The framework protects the fundamental rights of anyone in the EU whose personal data is transferred to the US for commercial purposes. It allows the free transfer of data to companies that are certified in the US under the Privacy Shield.) By providing personal information to us, you are consenting to its storage and use as described by this Policy.

          It is always up to you whether to disclose PII to us, although if you elect not to do so, we reserve the right not to register you as a user or provide you with any product or services. This website collects various types of information, such as:

            WHERE WE HAVE GIVEN YOU (OR WHERE YOU HAVE CHOSEN) A PASSWORD WHICH ENABLES YOU TO ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING THIS PASSWORD CONFIDENTIAL. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE A PASSWORD WITH ANYONE.

If you wish to deactivate your account, please email us at [email protected] but note we may continue to store information about you as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. 

          (b) Location Information
          With your consent, we may collect information about your actual location when you use our mobile applications. You may stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the settings on your mobile device but note that some features of our mobile applications may no longer function if you do so. 

          (c) Native Applications on Mobile Device
          Some features of our mobile applications may require access to certain native applications on your mobile device, such as the camera and photo storage applications (e.g., to take and upload photos) and the phonebook application (e.g., to send invitations to your contacts to try the Services). If you decide to use these features, we will ask you for your consent prior to accessing the applications and collecting information. Note that you can revoke your consent at any time by changing the settings on your device.

            All Your Personal Information we collect will always belong to you. However, we are a collector and a processor of Your Personal Information. That implies on us obligations to respect your rights to Personal Information and facilitate the exercise of your rights thereto. In order to use any of your rights at any time please contact us and we will facilitate the exercise of your rights free of charge. We will inform you on the actions taken by us under your request as soon as practically possible, but in any case, not later than in 30 (thirty) calendar days.

          Right to erase your Personal Information. Please note that a request to erase your Personal Information will also terminate your account on the Site. We will automatically and without undue delay erase your Personal Information when it is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;

          Right to data portability. You may obtain from us the personal data concerning you and which you have provided to us and transmit it to another Personal Information Controller;

          The right to request that Camp Fern Legacy disclose:
